From baseball games at Lindsay Park in Williamsburg, Brooklyn as a toddler, to playing division 1 baseball at Hartford University as well as Texas Southern University, my lifelong passion for sports has always fueled my creativity. A Houston transplant (as a pre-teen) from New York who loves the South, I’m Ryan Melendez, a creative arts and communications major at Texas Southern University committed to finding innovative ways to elevate brands. 

My combined experience in competitive sports and visual design gives me a unique perspective—understanding the athlete's journey and the power of social media to amplify stories, whether it's announcing a commitment or promoting a game.
